Day
1 - Arrive Cochin Arrive at Cochin airport/railway station.
Transfer to the hotel.
PM - City tour of Old Cochin. Visit the
Dutch Palace (closed on Fridays), Jewish Synagogue (closed on Friday
afternoons and Jewish holidays), Jew Street and St. Francis Church. Return
to the hotel.
Overnight at Hotel Abad Atrium.
Day
2 - Cochin - Munnar (AM)Depart from Cochin by road for Munnar
(approx 4 hrs) Arrive at Munnar and transfer to hotel. The hill station is
approximately 1600 mts above sea level and is known for its tea plantations.
Overnight at T & U.
Day 3 - MunnarFull
day sightseeing covering Matuppati Dam, Indo Swiss Project, Eravikulam
National Park and the Tata Tea Factory. Overnight at T & U.

4 - Munnar - Periyar (AM)Depart from Munnar by road for Periyar
(approx 3 hrs). Arrive Periyar which is one of the most popular wildlife
sanctuaries of India. Check into your hotel
. PM - Enjoy a boat
ride on Lake Periyar and view the wildlife. Later visit Kumily, the spice
market. Overnight at Cardamom County.
Day
5 - Periyar - Kumarakom (AM)Depart from Periyar by road for
Kumarakom (approx. 4 hrs). Arrive at and check into your hotel. Spend the
rest of the day at leisure and enjoy backwater country. Overnight at
Whispering Palms.
Day 6 - Kumarakom Full
day at leisure. View the activities on the banks of the backwaters or lay
back an enjoy an ayurvedic massage.
PM - Overnight at
Whispering Palms.
Day 7 - Cochin (AM)After
breakfast, drive back to Cochin (approx 2 hrs) and transfer to the airport /
railway station for onward journey.
